Friends of Ignite

Ignite is among a number of bottom-up, self-organizing phenomena. If you like Ignite DC, you may also like to participate in these events:

• Ignite Baltimore
  Ignite Baltimore started the Ignite movement in the Midatlantic region. They've also helped to put together Ignite DC by providing their website platform and a great deal of assistance. But more importantly, their events rock...so check 'em out!
• Artomatic
  Artomatic is a month-long multimedia arts event that draws together visual artists, musicians and performers and brings their work to the community without charge.
• BarCamp DC
  BarCamp DC is an ad-hoc unconference that brings together visionaries in the DC technology community to share ideas.
• Refresh DC
  Refresh is a community of web designers, developers, and other new media professionals working together to refresh the creative, technical, and professional aspects of their trades in the Washington, DC, area.
• Social Matchbox
  Social Matchbox is an open mic night and networking event for startup companies. Social Matchbox provides a quarterly “State of Startups” for the Mid Atlantic by fusing company demos, a startup job fair, investor introductions in a relaxed tech networking event in DC.
