Rewiring the world - why we need a new diplomacy
The world doesn't work. Its systems are failing, under attack, or simply delivering harmful results. But no country can re-assert control on its own. We therefore need a new diplomacy - rich in ideas, densely networked, and equipped to influence change, not insist on it.
This is not just a challenge for governments, but for any actor with global connections. Insights are desperately needed from those thinking creatively about culture, risk, communication, coalitions, innovation, technology and institutions.
This talk will sketch out the 'great problem', suggest a few solutions, but - above all - ask for help.
