Bruno Sanchez-Andrade Nuño
100 Hours of Astronomy
100 Hours of Astronomy is an international event inside the International Year of Astronomy 2009. What started like a nice idea, developed as an international effort which created the biggest simultaneous astronomical outreach event ever. More info here ( http://www.100hoursofastronomy.org/ ). I am part of the organizational team. Mi talk would be to present the idea, inception, what happened during the 100 hours and the followup. The background message is to increase motivation for science outreach.
