Make a Joyful Noise: How to Sing (and Why You Should)

Singing is good for you. It can lower your heart rate, decrease your blood pressure, and reduces stress. Some studies show it's better for you than yoga. Singing is cathartic, invigorating, and oh, really fun.

Everyone can sing. Everyone should. If you're not singing right now, somehow, somewhere in your life, this talk will show you how.

About Libby Sinback:

Libby Sinback is a lifelong singer. For most of her life, she has been singing publicly in some form or another, be it with a choir, in a show, at karaoke bars, at vocal competitions, or just randomly on the street.

Presently she sings with the 18th Street Singers, who recently sang at the National Christmas Tree Lighting gala. She also co-hosts a special karaoke night on U Street. She is presently working on a solo recital of African American art songs and spirituals. She lives in Washington, DC.
