100 Demons
Buddhism teaches that each person must overcome 100 demons in a lifetime. I'm going to show you 5-10 of mine as illustrated characters come to paper life in front of my camera.
About Christiana Aretta:
Visual storyteller. Fourth-generation Washingtonian with roots in Tennessee, Illinois and Cuba. Shook hands with Jimmy Carter in 2nd grade. Made websites for Shania Twain, Marilyn Manson's toy line and the (thankfully) short-lived Conan the Barbarian TV show. Wrote, directed and animated shorts for AtomFilms and Microsoft. Once remained unbeaten for nearly 45 minutes straight on Soul Calibur at E3. Been chased by monkeys on a bike trail in Japan. Volunteer photo instructor at Sitar Arts. Reluctant triathlon trainee. Currently working on two documentaries about food.
