The future of women's healthcare - integration
Healthcare is a contentious topic, wrought with inequity, misunderstanding and gender disparity. I believe that empowering women, especially in the health arena, is integral to furthering worldwide goals to stabilizing populations (UN Foundation). And yet, research devoted to women's health fails to acknowledge our differences or the need for a total mind-body/integrative/individual approach. This is the future of women's healthcare - acknowledging and addressing our differences.
