Fashion DC- How this Creative Industry will evolve DC's Creative Economy
Its not about the fashion shows, photo-ops, red carpet premieres or strutting and posing on the step and repeats. Its not even about the "hottest new shopping experience", although shopping plays an important part. Its about understanding and recognizing the growing, local fashion industry for what it is: a major tool to help propel DC's Creative Economy into the stratosphere. A pathway to help DC's Creative Economy garner the government, public and private support it deserves. Fashion is as much a business discipline as it is a creative outlet, and in my five minutes, I want to share how Fashion can and will play a major roll in DC's creative future.
