Life Lessons: A Spinster's Tale of Dating, Loving and $%*!ing
Ladies, you can't find Mr. Right, you'll settle for Mr. Right Now, though Mr. You Gotta Be Kidding Me is the only man in sight. Gentleman, you're looking for your Dream Girl and instead keep finding a Nightmare on U Street.
All too often I hear women ask, "where have all the men gone? My [sister, girlfriend, cousin, co-worker] married a good man; he loves her bathwater." On the other end of the spectrum, I hear men wondering, "why can't I find a decent woman? My [brother, uncle, best friend]'s wife is so good to him; she loves his bad breath.
I'm here to say to both of you, don't give up, keep looking, the law of probability is on your side, which gets to the point of thinking of dating like you do a business. Consider these questions: What is your dating goal? Have you done a personal SWOT analysis? Who is your audience? What are your tactics? And so on...
In the end, $if the stars align against you and the universe truly is a cruel bastard with a jacked-up sense of humor, you can say you enjoyed the ride.
