The second greatest middle class in history is rising in China and it is being led by entrepreneurs who are changing the way things are done - in China and the rest of the world. Consumption of oil, grain, meat and even luxury goods are rising and changing global demand patterns which are reverberating across the world and directly impacting each of us in the USA. In 5 minutes I'll give an example of this amazing growth and how we can appreciate and work with this game changing group to people so we all benefit.

About Larry Gilmore:

Larry Gilmore is Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Yongye International (NASDAQ:YONG). He began consulting with Wu Zishen, a Chinese entrepreneur, in November 2007 to help him in take his socially responsible, organic product company public. From 2008, they have been on a mission to make this start-up company, based in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, a great public company in the USA and a high performer in China. The company raised approximately $100M USD on Wall Street during the global financial downturn. Now, Larry is on another venture - to bring the health and “good eating” of Inner Mongolia to the USA.

On Larry’s first voyage to China in 1985, as a new college graduate, he saw a country emerging from the Cultural Revolution. Over the next twenty-five years, he witnessed firsthand - by working, traveling and living in China - intimate insights into the parallel tales of two countries, the USA and China, and how their paths have both diverged and intertwined.

Larry has dedicated his life to making a positive impact in the world through practicing good business. He worked for over fifteen years in and as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and large educational institutions, guiding them through use of effective frameworks towards organizational excellence so they could achieve elite status among stakeholder populations as a "Best Company to Work for" and as a great operational performer in its industry.
