If you had all your money in one stock, would people call that "stable?"
Obviously, I'm working on a catchy title, but the premise is this:
Having a "real job" - that is, one source of income, is like having all your money in one stock. It's irresponsible. But yet, this is what most people call being "stable," and freelancing, that is, having many sources of income, is what people consider risky. I think this is backwards, and stifles personal growth and innovation.
Especially in this economy, and the one that will emerge forever changed, it's important to change our point of view...
