Bach and Beethoven: Two of my Favorite Geeks

Classical music is not high tech, or is it?

Bach, Mozart and Stravinsky wrote forward thinking and futuristic music that, at its heart, is still artistically, theoretically and technically ahead of its time.

Isn't that high tech?

But just as we in classical music love music from past centuries - many of us are also living in that past. A good lot of us are "techno-phobic."

So, here I am reaching out to you future-technology gurus: what can we do together?

Show us how to take the power of classical music - its ability to excite, inspire, rock and soothe - and make it more present and even more powerful….. Show us how to get paid more as well.

In return, we'll help you find the other worldly beauty and soul in your work that may help complete your other worldly technically advanced worlds.

We have a new President - probably the only one on the campaign trail who said, "I plan to bring classical music and jazz into the White House." That same President used the internet and new technologies to win the 2008 Presidential election.

Clearly, he's calling on us to unite.
