Making My Mind Up: 2011's Single of the Year
In just a few months, the culture industry begins its ritual of sorting the last year's music into endless "Best of" lists. Those lists likely won't include Rebecca Black's cheesy, over-tuned accidental blockbuster, "Friday".
It's a mistake. "Friday" deserves to be the single of the year, if not the decade. Let me tell you why.

He is member of the faculty of Washington's SpeakeasyDC and has told stories on their stage about flossing, streaking, and shopping for online prostitutes.
