About Ned Hodgman:
Ned is executive director of Understanding Government, a Washington, D.C. non-profit organization that is working to promote a more effective dialogue between citizens and the government they own. Previously, Ned started a U.S.-based manufacturing company with offices in Moscow, Russia and Kiev, Ukraine, and helped start an NGO in Moscow devoted to improving conditions for Russian citizens with physical disabilities. He has a Ph.D. in American history from the University of Rochester and an A.B. in Slavic Studies from Harvard College.
