Creatively Green: Merging Art and Eco-Consciousness East of the River

What happens when visual art and eco-friendly commerce mix in a underserved neighborhood East of the River? A community-based, eco-conscious artspace called Tubman-Mahan Art Gallery, in a "green" business incubator called Center for Green Urbanism is the result!

This presentation will attempt to address questions such as what role has art played in educating people about environment and protecting the Earth? And how can a space like Tubman-Mahan Art Gallery can become a catalyst to inspire green conscious living in communities East of the River?
