Christine Marie Sequenzia serves as Federal Policy Advisor to the Animal Welfare Institute in Washington, D.C. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Ms. Sequenzia majored in Animal Science and has successfully transitioned her passion for animals and political savvy into a career promoting legislation on Capitol Hill and across the nation. Prior to her current position, Christine served as staff to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Office of U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions. Christine has also broadened her understanding of business by serving in the Business Markets Group at Level 3 Communications in Denver, Colorado and acting as key staff to the private equity powerhouse, HM Capital Partners, located in Dallas, Texas.
Ms. Sequenzia is very active with McLean Bible Church; has been published in both online and print media; was profiled in The Hill Newspaper and LobbyBlog.com; is on the steering committees for both the Young Leadership Network and the Homes for Horses Coalition; is a member of the American League of Lobbyists; and spends time organizing and volunteering for events, such as: Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure, Doorways Women’s Shelter, Day Break Ministries, Washington Humane Society’s Fashion for Paws, White House holiday events, various service projects and politically related opportunities.
Christine resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her 11 year old rescue Jack Russell/Basenji Mix, Malachi.
